Welcome to The Chatterbot Collection
For those wanting to submit items to the collection then you can make contact via email.
Also, if people would like to send me screen shots of their bots then please do, just be sure to let me know which bot is yours in your email, and it would be really helpful if you quoted the ID number.
Should you wish to enter a discussion about this site then may I suggest the forum at AiDreams as a venue as currently there is no plan to make a dedicated forum for this site.
This site now comes in two flavours - there's a choice of dark and light themes - simply click on the theme buttons up in the top right corner to choose the one you want. To keep with the theme you choose you need to have cookies enabled or at least accept the one from this site.
Thanks for visiting !
Freddy.

Anni stands for Artificial Neural Network Intelligence and was based in first versions on a three layer perceptron – a special type of a feedforward artificial neural network – to find appropriate responses. These experiments failed and the algorithm was changed.
The current version does not use artificial neural networks anymore, but instead searches for similarities of the user's input in a database consisting of various chat logs to find a reasonable response. Furthermore this enables Anni to speak in several languages like English as well as German in the current version.

French Chatbot. An open source interpreter of a custom script language dedicated to chatterbot-making, Genesis is one example here.

"Balabolka is a Text-To-Speech (TTS) program. All computer voices installed on your system are available to Balabolka. The on-screen text can be saved as a WAV, MP3, OGG or WMA file. The program can read the clipboard content, view the text from DOC, RTF, PDF, ODT, FB2 and HTML files, customize font and background colour, control reading from the system tray or by the global hotkeys. Balabolka uses various versions of Microsoft Speech API (SAPI); it allows to alter a voice's parameters, including rate and pitch. The user can apply a special substitution list to improve the quality of the voice's articulation. This feature is useful when you want to change the spelling of words. The rules for the pronunciation correction use the syntax of VBScript."
